Lush with thick piano chords, groovy basslines and ethereal pads this record belongs in any US House DJ’s bag.
A1 'I Need' is a piano-fuelled peak time track with pumping drums, an insistent brass hook and euphoric vocal stabs. A2 'Sunday Morning' is a slower, easier groove filled with rhodes melody lines, sizzling hi-hats and a tight bassline - all centered around an airy seventh chord pad.
On the B-side 'Feelin' U' is a return to the vocal-driven piano house Niles Cooper is known for. Chunky chords blend together with a US Garage type beat to make a driving floor stomper. B2 'Memories' ends the record on an introspective note. An ethereal pad is caressed by delicate melodies, soft rides and a hollow bassline, a true early morning tune reminiscent of the 90's Chicago House sound.[info from ld]
