There s a sense of urgency and mystery woven into tracks like -Righteous Rule-, where haunting leads wobble over sizzling drum machines, and the overall mood is redolent of 80s soundtracks mixed with the uneasy side of Chicago house music. Maintaining a punchy finish throughout and constantly reaching for the spooky side of machine soul, Simoncino has more than delivered for the legendary Italian label.
