Nat Wendell appeared for the first time last year with the excellent Theoretics EP, and now he's back with a classy joint for Courtesy Of Balance. "The Blues" rides on some addictive Lately bass and a tight set of drums, making great use of hypnotising synth flourishes to soften out the edges and make this the consummate modern deep house joint. "No Sample" is a little more steadfast in its pace and propulsion, but there's still plenty of mellifluous melodic action to keep you locked in.
