New York collective Sheik ‘N’ Beik continue to expand an impressively developing catalogue adding to releases from Xamiga, Keita Saino and Jeffrey Scott with a fresh 12” from Voodoo Down Records owner and fellow Brooklynite N conduit. Having utilised Voodoo Down as a platform for his own brand of rich, emotive House music N conduit now dims the lights a tad in offering up 3 neatly reduced Techno tracks that meld dystopian drones with disquieting melodies and tough, swung drums. ‘Echo Must Die’ kicks things off with looming pads and glistening synth tones. A bold, punchy kick drives a purposeful march forwards whilst mangled computer FX pepper the high-end.
