Born as Max Decibel in a quaint, sonically vibrant town called Beatville, Mr. Mad Compressor had an unconventional entrance into the world. His parents swore that his first cry was in perfect pitch with the family’s piano. An ability he soon lost. An insatiable curiosity marked Maximillian’s teenage years for all things audio. He spent countless hours in his bedroom rearranging his parents' vinyl collection and experimenting with their vintage recording equipment.
