Mauro Picotto returns with the first selection of tracks from his eagerly anticipated new album >2010<. On >Delicious< we are treated to the melodic Mauro. Warm, sweeping synths, bright keys, breakdowns, gentle grooves and soft vocals are all present here. Next one is >Arrival<, a groovy track with a real landing airplane sound, recorded at Ibiza Airport. Turning to the dark side, we have >Cold Blood< and >2010<. Icy, precise and industrial sounds are paired with forceful beats and devastating snare rolls. A superb selection and one that wets, dare we say drowns, the appetite for the rest of the album!
