The opening hits of the percussion stay smooth and relaxed, and the instruments come in one-by-one – first the synth, then the strings, then the brass – to create an experience thats both engaging and relaxing. This is the sort of music I would listen to if I cruised the streets of San Francisco in the evenings. As >Back To The Bay< wraps up and pulls us into his remix of >Screw Up<, we get a dose of Subscapes intensity, but its quickly pulled back into Matty Gs signature low-bass, hip-hop/dubstep fusion beats. >Jam Like A Tek< adds in some vocal hooks to get the crowd chanting – and you are missing out if you dont add this into your mix. Deep kick drums, a snappy snare, big distortion on the scratchy bass wobbles, and the vocals all come together perfectly to create a track thatll get people grinding like mad on the dancefloor.
