‘Pitched’ opens proceedings and is solely aimed at the dancefloor with its driving percussion, deep bass and pitched vocal snippets. Next up is ‘Troija’ which progresses with at a slower BPM, has a funkier and more exotic groove and is characterised by bouncing bass and tribal drums. ‘Demence’ takes the listener on a hypnotic journey with it’s squelching acid-bassline and incessant echoing vocal. ‘Propeller’, which rounds off the EP, is another percussive groover designed to move a peak time club. The tracks builds throughout, with crisp hi-hats which drive the track’s infectious rhythm. On top of the four tracks on offer, the ‘Tentakle’ EP also generously comes with two deadly FX Tools for all DJs to build into their set.
