The Irish is the only artist from Cork who can claim to be part of the infamous Stockholm electronic music scene known as the Swedish Invasion. Long before making up one half of the successful techno house outfit DK7 - founded with partner Jesper Dahlbäck in 2003 -, Mark, also known as The Mighty Quark or as Mark and John when he produces with Jespers cousin John Dahlbäck, who moved to Sweden in 1994, started to make music with various Swedish artists perfecting his skills as an acoustically versed soundscape sculptor. With The Prayer EP, Marks first release on Plastic City, O Sullivan is returning to his dubby roots that made up an intrinsic part of him as a producer in the past as well - something that already shone through on his first two longplayers released on his own imprint King Syndrome Sounds.
