The influence of Bristolian scenes is omnipresent and the instruments have been calibrated to best fit the voice as well as the pictorial texts of Marina P. The album plays with darkness and light. From the unprecedented combination of early Techno sounds to Detroit, G-Funky sounds, the soulful voice of the singer and a wide range of dub effects, a hauntingly poetic atmosphere is born. Over the titles Marina P is revealed with lyrics that deal with the condition of the individual, its place in the heart of society and the universe, its mistakes and doubts.
