Club Remixes from the End 90s by Sasha, BT & Victor Calderone on Limited Silver Vinyl

Juli als limitiertes Silver Vinyl [info sheet from distr.]
This limited edition silver vinyl features eight rare and newly edited remixes from the Ray of Light album, including the previously unreleased track, "Gone, Gone, Gone." Veronica Electronica is both the nickname Madonna gave to herself during the recording of the Ray Of Light album (Veronica being her musical alter ego for this album, like Dita was for the Erotica one), but also the name of a remix album she originally wanted to produce and release in the fall of 1998 and that would have included single remixes and outtakes from the album’s recording sessions. Due to the success of the album and the 5 singles taken from it, but also to new projects she was working on back then, the remix album never saw the light of day.

- This special LP is a way to pay tribute to her original idea, including new edits to some of the amazing remixes created for commercial or promotional purpose back in the day, new cuts created out of existing remixes ('Nothing Really Matters' mixes elements from the Peter Rauhofer Speed Mix and Speed Dub versions of the song, while 'Frozen' was created out of William Orbit’s Widescreen Mix and Drumapella versions of the track) and the original demo version of ‘Gone Gone Gone’, which was produced by Madonna and Rick Nowels before William Orbit was involved in the album’s production. It was originally meant to close the album but Madonna went for 'Mer Girl' instead. Even though a low quality version of it leaked on the internet back in 2002, fans will now have it in its full glory.
-The track’s sequence follows the album’s: The first five edits were created after the idea of a trippy DJ set performed in an underground club, Veronica being a girl dancing to it with the music progressively putting her into a trance. The last three could be described as the after-hour segment you chill to before leaving the dance floor and going back to the real world.
- The artwork uses photos originally created by Inez van Lamsweerde for the April 1998 issue of Spin Magazine, one of them being later picked by Madonna as cover shot for ‘The Power Of Good-Bye’ single
