Kraze aka. Richard Jean Laurent began songwriting and performing in 1985. In 1988 he created >I Say Shut Up< and >The Party<, who became a House Music Classics even before that term existed! These songs catapulted Kraze into one of House Music s first bonafide stars, making him performing at venues ranging from the best clubs to Wembley Arena and the Prince of Tunesia s home. He reached Top 10 all over the world, but especially >The Party< is still used from George Clinton to David Bowie to political campaigns to radio themes to Coney Islands.
