Shall Not Fade welcome London based duo Kassian to the family with their latest EP 'Crush’.

Working out of their Hackney Wick studio 38 East, Kassian have been making a name for themselves with standout releases on both Phonica White & Heist Recordings. Having based their sound on the deeper end of house and club music, the pair put forward a characteristically stylish EP for their debut on Shall Not Fade.

The A1 track ‘All I Know’ is the sub-heavy house track full of vivid delayed synths, intricate wooden drums, and a huge catchy vocal to tie it together, this is undoubtedly the most iconic track on the record. The title track ‘Crush’ is the pair's most minimal jam to date. Complete with garage inspired drums, two warping basslines and a playful hook that sits perfectly in the grooves, this is a heads down, energetic track perfectly balanced between the dancefloor and leftfield.

On the flip, ‘Decades’ and ‘Eastern Arps’ are the undeniable club tools on the EP. Both of the Berlin inspired House tracks evolve from a basic groove and playfully explore an abundance of possibilities within their sound designs and are heavily inspired by the minimal house often found in the boys Balamii radio show.
