The first collaboration from seasoned Chicago electronic artists K-rAd (Chris Grabowski) and Opcode66 (Todd Mariana), KNO-001 is a deep and techy ride through space and sound. *From Dark to Light* offers a tasteful, musical journey geared toward experienced listeners and late night party people. Reminiscent of watching the night sky transform into sunrise, *From Dark to Light* captures and explores this glorious experience. With simple, driving bass, an edgy monosynth riff and well-crafted sounds, strings help carry the piece through its musical transition as it builds and ends with great energy. *Dream About* subtly addresses concepts of isolation and futility as realities. Listeners may contemplate the relationship between reality and dreams (and the necessary functions of each) while immersed in slowly-evolving melodies. With many incidental sounds worked into the fabric of the piece, simple and satisfying percussion, and lush effects trails, *Dream About* playfully and defiantly transfigures reality into something dream-like.
