The Diffy EP marks Juan s first FORMAT EP released under his own name, and it s definitely one that will turn heads on the floor. The original version of Diffy and Mirage reflect Juan s trademarked minimal but hard-as-nails techno sound: staccato kicks, nervously rattling percussions and looped synth pulses make up the fundaments of both tracks, locking in all ingredients for proper techno clubbing.Up first on the remix tip is renowned techno veteran Jeroen Search, whose remix of Diffy is a chunky piece of stripped floor funk with subtle hints of Detroit techno.
