This shadowy figure has had his fingers in many of France’s most arcane musical pies, from Visitors’s surrealist sympho-prog anomalies and Horrific Child’s deranged diversions to JPM & Co.’s discombobulated disco aberrations, and has been quoted as Frances’ answer to Joe Meek, Giorgio Moroder and Tom Moulton rolled into one! What we have on this record are tracks lovingly placed in the edit blender from PBR Streetgang, Bonar Bradberry and Soft Rocks. These were originally meant to see the light of day on a JPM re-edit album, but for reasons too boring to go into here the album was shelved, but these canny re-editors knew they had some leftfield disco gold that needed sharing, so they’ve done the decent thing and put them on wax.
