Heading from his own True Rotary Recordings (co-run with Ena Cosovic), Be As One and recently showing appearance twice on BROR Records sub-label Lilies - Joel Alter presents a diverse three track EP on BROR Records with “BROR07” under his techno alias Jor-El.
The A-side holds the highly effective “In Ur Face” with broken percussions. A track with a daring arrangement that half way through imposes dark energy through the moody bass line and a relentless four to the floor kick work.
On the B-side Jor-El brings the emotive “In Ur Mind”, a perfectly crafted atmospheric techno cut followed by the energetic off-kilter outro “Spectrum”- techno stripped to its bare essentials.[info from label]
