Following a very successful first ever Bonzai 7 inch record with Thunderball, we just couldn’t resist cutting another iconic track onto 7 inch coloured vinyl. This time, we have the mighty Jones & Stephenson’s 1993 worldwide club hit The First Rebirth (Original Radio Edit) and, if that wasn’t enough, we’ve included the brand new The Sixth Rebirth (Techno Radio Edit) on the B-side. The First Rebirth, created by Frank Sels aka Franky Jones and David Brants aka Axel Stephenson, physically shook the whole dance music scene to its core, in particular the Hard Trance scene where this track rests comfortably. Some called it chaotic confusion, others call it sublime Melodic Trance, but no-one can deny that this piece strikes the balance between pumping hardcore beats and energetic melody driven trance. Fast-forward to 2018, Franky Jones still at the helm, joined by new group member Rob Fabrie aka DJ Waxweazle got into the studio and together they continued the legacy with The Sixth Rebirth which captures the spirit of the Hard Trance era, unleashing it into the modern world for all to savour.
