After a very techno first release, Unanim returns with another approach of the genre. It is Herodot who delivers two very different tracks for his Duo Ep. Silent Record rules the first side of this vinyl and its a monster. The rolling bassline and the powerful percussion are backed by tripping background noises. You cand also hear french experimentalist duo Radiomentalle and David Toops distorted voice. This one is definitely not silent and 100% destined for the dancefloor. On a more subtle note side B features Tul which is not as * loud* and a bit tool-ish. Lurking sounds populate the background and the shakers provide a percussive feeling throughout the track. Techno hasnt left the building !
