The Happy Love song was originally released on a Tribesman 12inch, one of the least known but most killer Wackies 12inches of its day. A propulsive rhythm is behind the group licking back the tune cut by the IQ s in Jamaica a couple years earlier. The B-side was retrieved from tape, an unknown vocalist extolling the virtues of the roots rock reggae coming from Wackie s studio in the turbulent New York City of the 1970s. A must have for all Wackie s diehards, another level of the pyramid unearthed, and more to come!
