After releases for his own label Supplement Facts, the club hits >Sea Of Sand<, >Belly Dancing< and not to forget, his album debut >Late Bloomers<, the Tel-Aviv-based Gerber could be found rightly in top positions in many newcomer listings in the past year. 2008 was a little more calm for him, but with >Timing<, being just in time for the final, he again sets new standards in linking harmony with a hedonistic state of emergency. While >Timing< pleases us like a nocturnal-hypnotic romance in between a disco bassline, >Age of Love< flair and winterly sleigh bells, >Guilty Pleasures< takes back this playful love of details to the benefit of a tropical-dense percussive dub, however without appearing less mandatory on the dancefloor.
