Mark Reeve has made appearances on labels like Soma, Cocoon & Traum and is an artist that Gary has been supporting in many of his recent DJ sets. Gary Beck sets the pace with >Ars Poetica<, the rugged opening track on this release. Rasping off-beat bass and unnerving vocal samples join toughened drums and percussion to create a full-bodied fix. On the flip, Mark Reeve makes his first appearance on BEK Audio with his >Fabula< track. A clean, smooth and grooving lesson in restrained and delicate production, Fabula utilises icy cold atmospheres with warm and unwavering rhythm.
