GAFFY, an artist and keyboard player whose passion for hardware and synthesizers has lead to him creating some of the most exciting music set to come out of France over the coming months. As a DJ, GAFFY has travelled Europe playing some of the finest floors from Paris to Ibiza, London and beyond.

FINE SQUAD, a group of professional musicians, DJ's and producers who represent the junction between electronic and acoustic music. Its five members come from a host of musical backgrounds, and their Jazz, Funk, Afro, House and Techno influences can all be heard in their music. Whether its DJ'ing of playing live, the FINE SQUAD always deliver a sensational and refreshing musical landscape.

Its FINE SQUAD who kick us off today with "Step 2." As with all 9AM releases the we are treated to a perfect soundclash of cheeky samples and live instruments, forged together with some of the slickest production work. This little beauty is hotsteppin' it from the off with its silky Rhodes melody and killer bassline. The Wah Wah leads us to the beautiful trademark FINE SQUAD break and we're floating, before the bass and beat drop again.

GAFFY steps up on the flip with the incredible "Last Call." This feisty little number plays heavily on its sweaty bass and oldschool drum patterns. Its panty-wetting vocal, twisted guitar licks and crisp piano chords will have the floor heaving and grooving as one. Rounding out the release is a remix of "Step 2" from the Parisian dream team of Varoslav & Yakine. The pair lock the original into a deep, sweaty and ever so slutty groove.
