The former marries punchy kicks to bristling percussion and sets an inviting tempo. Plenty of colour seeps in courtesy of some spacious chords and there is a finely balanced sense of joy aching to get out between the subtle vocal cries and shimmering synths. The flip side, ‘You Shoulda Known’ is that little bit more physical, with torque hi hats and drums padding out a mottled rhythm as more widescreen synths light up the whole thing from the behind.
