Dreadzone entstanden ursprünglich aus Mitgliedern von Big Audio Dynamite und Screaming Target. Hier formierten Gründungsmitglied Greg Dread, Bassist Leo Williams, MC Spee, Sänger Earl 16, Gitarrist Chris Compton und Chris Oldfield an Keyboards und Effekten das Ensemble.
