The last and eighth release in this series opens up with Christian Wunschs remix of Ex Machina on the A-side which is all hypnotic bounce, roaring chords, cutting through the irrepressible groove. Morbecks remix of Ghost Town on A2 is an atmospheric but tough interpretation of the original, kicking hard with jackhammered drums, coupled with metal scraping metal sounds and a simplicity that makes it a handy tool to build great tension on the dance-floor. The B-side kicks off with Jonas Koppss remix of Miscellaneous Pt. 1 – creatively pairing the heavy rolling 909 drums with a classic four-on-the-floor clap pattern and topped with the eroded drones of the original track. B2 is a re-mastered version of the utterly timeless and epic club hit “1969” by the mastermind Christian Morgenstern himself.
