B.K.R is the techno project of Simon Baker, presenting four dancefloor fillers on Duskys 17 Steps. The EP starts with Bubble & Squeak, a collaboration with Jamie Jones which is a groovy number flecked with gentle synths. Fly is a techno track, where dark and broody tones push through a continuum of crashing percussions. Dis is punchy, energetic and bold, and Das rounds off the release, with B.K.R skillfully playing with layers of percussion and a serene melody.
