When it comes to offbeat raw Detroit House music you cant really mess with Omar-S and his FXHE label. On this new double pack hes keeping it in the family with his cousin Big Strick providing us with 3 fresh tracks and Omar-S treating us to his versions of his cousins tracks. Both twelves flow nicely, mixing up early Chicago sounds (Think Virgo, Larry Heard) with some uber-crisp drum programming from Strick and Omar-S. Fans of Big Stricks 7 Days EP will not be disappointed with this. Six tracks filled with raw grit and jacking rhythms, House heads should definitely pick this up.
