DJ SKIRT has been present on the UK techno scene for well over a decade . Although her route has been far from straight forward, she originally hails from Texas, there is no doubt that her influence and sound have been shaped by the Birmingham techno renegades Surgeon and Regis. Drones,hushed vocals and fractured beats combine to give us an unsettling glimpse of the future sound of her adopted home, Birmingham.
