Stephen Brown is a man who certainly needs no introduction, and his knack of channeling the best of Detroit innovation and adding his own distinct flavours shows no sign of letting up. On >Fuego< and >Polar< Brown takes us further into the jacking zone, his signature lush melodies driving up the rear until they envelope the tracks in a haze of deep and emotive vibrations, but never letting up on the tough rhythms. Ben Sims is drafted in to remix both tracks, leaving slicing shards of sound and roughing up the beat on his remix of >Polar<, before delving into a hard-funk take of >Fuego<.
