We see a very different world when we look through the Teleidoscope. Everything that we are focused on takes on a new perspective: a perspective that is dominated by colour. The trombone player and composer loves creating a sound palette with expressive colours. With her debut album Teleidoscope Antonia Hausmann challenges us to question our own perspectives and the roots of our perception. The album Teleidoscope is performed by a jazz ensemble which is even special regarding its line up: there is no double bass rather a trombone and bass clarinet foundation, in which Hausmann and clarinettist Damian Dalla Torre push boundaries in search of new terrain. Antonia Hausmann is a trombonist who understands her role in enriching her field: she has a melodic intuition with which she invites the listeners to discover how they can connect musically and to pursue that connection.
