A fifth edition of the Mosaic Split Series arrives, pairing up productions from Anne Errez and Clandestine, the production duo consisting of UK house/techno mainstays, Neville Watson and Justin Peace Division Drake. Errez, of course, featured on the previous edition of this series and it s clear the Leeds-based artist has made an impression on Steve O Sullivan with her tough stabs and dub flecked groove of * Discovery Inn* a perfect fit for Mosaic. Complementing this, the Clandestine project looks to be a most promising endeavour for Watson and Drake on the basis of their two searing contributions with the urgent machine funk flex of * Slave To The System* a proper highlight.
