A drum roll announces the arrival of Swiss artist and producer Andri to the Highgrade family. And the drums are something we can take literally, as the regular player on the Zurich party scene experimented for seven years with his own drums. Later the drum sticks were traded in for the “Music 2000“ program on Playstation, before Andri finally discoverd the mixing desk. The common thread among this musical history is a love for beats and rhythm, something that strongly influences his sets today. He was quickly recognised for the energy of his Live sets, creating a name both in Switzerland and outside its boarders. As a producer, he has impressed colleagues and experts alike with his musical output, especially with his EP “The Change“. In his latest work and debut release with Highgrade, “Never End“ - Andri mixes samples, beats and sexy voices into a coherent platform for an endless groove. Creating a vivid and imaginative window into the cinematic mind of the dancefloor, the tracks “Never End“, “Rumpelstelz“, “Dr. Drive“and “Pimpin Bell“ all feature pulsing funk laden basslines, bionic rhythms and various samples that evoke a light hearted feeling of passion and enjoyment.
