12 Rhythms as the name already suggests, is a Collection Series on Alma Negra Records. Each Issue is dedicated to a specific rhythm based on its groove stemming from its cultural origins. In a world surrounded by a plethora of grooves and rhythms, we have selected those which influenced us or just simply liked the most. The first Issue and first release on Alma Negra Records is dedicated to the unmistakable rhythms of Brazil. Growing up surrounded by the rich sounds from traditional to totally experimental, Brazilian Music has heavily influenced our own sound and direction.
