Alex AQ constructed “Don’t Break” and “Shake It” as a reflection of the sounds heard at the club. Pounding drums, rhythmic, scattered synths, white noise, and choice vocal snips that send you into a trance are the core characteristics of both tracks created by the Cubanmeister. On the flip, Myles Serge of Knotweed Records and his own label (MS) remixes “Don’t Break It”, taking it in a trippy direction, with 808 drums and dreamy stabs that sound fresher than ever. Last but not least, LPZ’s own techno duo P. Lopez & Octavio take “Shake It” and turn it into a techno monster consisting of heavy stabs and an undeniable groove.
