Now the elusive head honcho is back with a new EP, Born Under 22 Stars featuring 3 new cuts.
The release gets going with Wind Tunnel, a slice of pulsating minimal techno that journeys deep into the realms of the hypnotic electronica with its filtered and effected stabs and insistent throbbing bass. Cyrranus 247 takes things further into the techno realm with a percussive workout that has an intense old school feel to it. On the flip, West of Ophiuchus is an epic ten and a half minute, floorfilling masterpiece that certainly takes its time to get going, but bursts into a beat midway through, soaring the BPM against a backdrop of deep keys and enveloping harmonics, think early works by the likes of Planetary Assault Systems and Dave Angel delivering a classic and timeless piece that is simply sublime.
