On August 1, 1987, Tangerine Dream gave a memorable concert on the Platz der Republik, right in front of the Reichstag in Berlin, as part of the city’s 750th anniversary celebrations. With over 100,000 spectators, the concert took place near the Berlin Wall, symbolizing the division of Germany.
