Opener "SWORN" is the toughest and most tactile track on the EP, sculpted with searing synth lines that snake through dense percussive thickets. On "IXIAN", Tommy gives a hazy nod to his roots in drum n' bass with a half time groove that splinters with meteoric sweeps and mangled vocals—a readout from beyond. The B-side is still stamped with Tommy's impeccable attention to sound design, yet it turns downwards, mining cavernous and soul-penetrating depths. "CYCLES", an aqueous four-to-the-floor cut that burbles with effervescent chord stabs, offers softer shades that spill into spectral ambient closer "AERIAL".
