Land Of The Drums ist eine einzigartige Mischung aus natürlichen Tiergeräuschen im Rhythmus und einem treibenden Dance Percussion Beat. Der Produzent Neftali Santiago (ehemaliger Drummer von Mandrill) war 1980 ein Sample-Pionier. Alle Tiergeräusche wurden mit einem Melotron (erster Sampler mit analogen Tapeloops) eingespielt. Die Single war nur als Promo erhältlich und erregte in Holland viel Aufmerksamkeit, z.B. als Radiosong in der legendären Radiosendung Soul Show mit Ferry Maat. Die Promo-Exemplare werden wegen der Sammelleidenschaft der DJs für bis zu 85 Dollar pro Stück verkauft. Heutzutage gibt es immer noch eine Nachfrage nach der Platte.

All animal sounds were placed with a Melotron ( first sampler with analogue tapeloops). The single was only available as promo and got a lot of attention in Holland, for example as Radio tune from legendary radioprogram Soul Show with Ferry Maat.
