We are the ones who define us. Such is the message of The Eskapist. A special character in the Figure universe, his productions have come to forge their own cosmos entirely, telling a mysterious tale of love, intrigues and techno. Technology sits at this EPs heart, its machine-made tracks creating ambience, vitality and suspense across its varied runtime. It‘s tooly at times, yet all tunes sit and breathe their own distinct air, be it the shoving chords of upbeat (A1), an inquiry into the nature of reality on (A2), tunneling abysmal buzz that is (B1), or the stark computer-stomp of (B2). Ending on a philosophical note, The Eskapist underlines their mission statement as transporting meaning beyond their musicality and reminds us of our freedom and responsibility to define ourselves.
