The record starts off with a hard hitting techno track 'Sotto Voce' where Jacques manipulated trumpet sounds, a female choir and bells instruments. 'She in Dublin' can be categorised as a classic house track but with a Jacques twist. On the B-side, 'Learn Me' is conceived by accident due to Jacques’ unorthodox way of producing music and editing samples. The eerie vocal sounds mesh perfectly with the minimal up-tempo beat.

Jacques is slowly moving away from his past music he is known for and is pushing himself more to a whole different side of electronic music. He’s not afraid of taking risks as you can hear on the final track of the record: 'Outsider'. The 98 bpm down tempo song sounds like his ‘When U Are’ song on his Discovery Change Part 4 EP from 2016. However, the record doesn’t stop here: an important announcement of the artist can be found on the runout groove of the record.

Due to personal matters, the Discovery Change-series will be discontinued for now and therefore, the Last Jaar EP (JR-005) is a record on its own. In 2017 and January 2018 Jacques released several individual songs only on ÆX, a sub label from Amsterdam based label Indigo Aera. This new Last Jaar EP will be his first full EP since his ‘Discovery Change Part 4’ EP from 2016.
