Joseph White aka Joe White is a foundation of Jamaican music. He started singing in the late 50 s and did his first recordings for Duke Reid in the early 60 s. While Disco sound was bumping into Jamaican people mind, he formed the group Roots, Trunks & Branches to release several tracks on the label Splendour Heights. “Rising / Power Disco Power” is taken from the album The Weak Will Be Strong released in 1978. A beautiful extended disco reggae tune mainly played by Joe White (drums, piano, vocal). This issue was fully remastered on a disco 45 vinyl record to give respect to the dynamic. On the other side you will get the reggae lovers roots rock tune “Ain t No Way / The Monster”, an extended version with deep dubwise. You ve got it!
