Limited edition of 300 copies on 10 inch vinyl. Brooklyn musician and Red Bull Music Academy alum Sam Posner created El Niño & the Southern Oscillations as a meditation on the the Beauty and Power of the Ocean. The tracks flow through timeless electronica influenced by Selected Ambient era Aphex Twin and early Larry Heard as well as contemporary artists like Carribou and Jamie XX. Posner sketched the framework and palate for the project over a few years of travel, bringing the final EP together in a sea-side cabin watching waves crash against the rocky Maine coast.
