Joey Longo has had a long & varied music career since the 1980s, from regular global DJ spots to producing hip hop records for KRS ONE to spearheading the deep NYC house sound that he is most well known for. The raw shit is a classic Pal Joey EP, featuring a handful of his trademark hip hop & jazz infused tracks, all sample laden & with dope chopped up drums & ultra deep synth pads that occupy that sweet late night spot somewhere between the Burrell Brothers & MAW. Released in 1995 & still sought after by music lovers today the EP is the perfect marriage of House music with b-boy sensibilities, raw indeed! Remastered, repressed & re-released for 2015 in conjunction with King Street records, New York City.
