Iain O'Hare has been an active part of the Outcross Records family for over 4 years, first releasing with the label in 2011 with “I’ll Come Running” and “Radiovox”. Now he’s returned with his second full EP for the outfit, his first of which was supported by the likes of Wolf & Lamb, Soul Clap, Hot Toddy and label boss Miguel Campbell.

Influenced by artists such as Miguel Campbell and Inland Knights, his production brings rolling beats coupled with hypnotic vocal snips and warm bassline grooves. This style fits perfectly with his vibe when behind the decks, as he blurs the boundaries between his deep sounds, disco and house music.

Slinky synths and sophisticated rhythms make ‘Words Of Wisdom’ an instant ear opener, it weaves through styles infectiously and masterfully, whilst the vocals add smooth soul vibes to the track. ‘To Keep You’ continues the EP in style with its staggered house beats and bouncy bassline, whilst label boss Miguel Campbell and label-mate MAM add their own unique touches on the title track, showcasing the talent of Outcross Records’ current roster.

As his following grows, and with a host of new releases on the horizon from the Outcross studio, there is certainly an air of excitement around Iain’s future.
