‘Streets Of Recife' is a course combination of concrete kicks, husky synths and mangled vocal snippets that are backed up with a remix from the lauded Frenchman - Anaxander.

The title track kicks things off with darting strobes and a swirling synth pattern sat above a rattling underbelly before Anaxander, who follows up releases on Dame-Music, Quintessentials and Local Talk offers up a warming take on the original rich with glowing piano lines and softly saturated bass tones.

‘Sub' then drives it's whetted and cold percussion over a softly rotating drone before 'Before Considering' rolls out an elephantine groove behind forceful, plodding synths and a thickened kick and clap combo that bring another Abstract Culture coup to a close.[info from pd]
