Todd has also built airplanes, computers and hovercrafts. Or has he? At this point we need to just accept a mystery.
May of 2012, I flew out to Detroit to play DEMF and called Todd to see if he would be available to grab a bite and chat some shit before the show. A few hours later Todd arrived in his converted Police Cruiser with spot light to take me away from the festival to his house to listen to unreleased joints by him and his heroes. That planted the seed in my head to work with Todd. A year later at Red Bull Music Academy in NYC, where Todd had built the recording studio, I finally had my shit together enough to properly propose an EP. Here, Blueberry Records presents to you the “Michigan Dream” EP. With support from Cosmin TRG, XXXY, Mike Paradinas, Eclair Fifi, Illumsphere, Altered Natives, Mike Q and FaltyDL. Across 4 tracks, from Hip Hop to jacking vocal House, from druggy Techno to Braindance, Michigan Dream has it all. It’s a vibe. Get into it.
