The opening track "The Funktion" welcomes us into a retro-styled houseparty, set in a futuristic dystopian world. With only drums & toms, the gimmick is reminiscent of the colder Strip Steve record "Calcium", yet always remaining funky. Putting it in Strip Steve's words: "If Prince free-styled on a Linn Drum in a rave in 2025, this is what it would sound like." "The Other Side Of Time" is claimed as colder house or warmer techno, either way you might see it, it is a lighter addition to this release. Whereas the B-side starts off with a raw tool, influenced by Comeme, L.I.E.S & Roulé. "I Bump My Head :( " tells us the absurd and repetitive tale of a man who - bumped his head!
