First up, ‘Trigga’s Tale’ lays down a woody yet supple drum track and infuses it with a wandering, unhinged synth line that’s dark and dirty, suggestive and seductive. A sprinkling of percussion, more machine decay and an Afro spoken word snippet by legendary drum and bass MC Trigga bleed in and out the fray but the sparse vibes remain for almost six tantalising minutes.

‘Slippery’ is another deceptively crude and stripped back affair where rasping rubbery basslines, ticking techno hats and knackered kick drums all interact in an intriguing world where humans no longer belong.
