The wandering artists are back for the third instalment of the Birdsmakingmachine series, this time again going deeply into the abysses of house music. >Multiverse<, occupying the whole A-side, is a deep dancefloor affair filled with endless pads which, having been layered onto elaborate drum grooves, fuse together into the endless horizon. The B-side goes into similar territory, while still managing to create a slightly different ambience: >40th of May< uses intricately groovy steel drum patterns on a long, never-ending journey through the deep depths of the ocean, as for the end credits, >Dune< rounds off the EP with an instantly hypnotising groove that melts into delayed vocals, slightly darker pads and a galloping, yet smooth sine-wave bassline.
